when your cat was bad, did the car still seem fast/faster then without the charger? it was just a linear progression of power and no "step up" with vtec engagement right/>?? I'm trying to see if i have a clogged cat....
Anyway, how much boost are you running? You said that the engine is built, but built for what? turbo? what is the compression?

this was on an all motor car. the car would pull hard to 5,000 and then vtec would kick in, but it wouldn't go any faster. it also felt like it was falling on it's face at 7,000. hth
